In just a couple of months, synth duo Pet Shop Boys will be celebrating the thirty-first anniversary of their meeting in an electronics shop and talking about synthesisers. But that’s not what we’re celebrating here. For this week marks thirty years since the release of their debut single West End Girls.
So we’ll kick off by reviewing that first single tomorrow, before taking a brief whirlwind trip through their entire career, reviewing the odd release as we go along. Join us tomorrow to take a trip all the way back to 1984, where it all began.
