Massive Attack – Blue Lines (Special Edition)

Does Massive Attack‘s back catalogue really need reissuing? I suppose we’ll find out, as this week their first album Blue Lines celebrates the year of its 21st birthday with a massive 96k/24bit high resolution double vinyl and DVD and CD reissue.

The only slight shame is that they haven’t found space for Nellee Hooper‘s 7″ version of the wonderful single Unfinished Sympathy or the excellent Irish-flavoured b-side Home of the Whale. Either way, and whether it needs it or not, the remastered edition of Blue Lines comes out this week. Here’s a taster:
