Róisín Murphy – Simulation

There are quite a few good new releases to consider this week, but for the time being I’m going to stick to my self-imposed rule of only writing about one of them.

After an initial solo outing in 2005 with Ruby BlueRóisín Murphy released an album of breathtaking astonishment in 2007 entitled Overpowered. Since then she’s dropped in once or twice with the odd single, some (Orally Fixated) more interesting than others (Momma’s Place). And now she’s finally back, with a fascinatingly hypnotic track entitled Simulation. Here it is:


And if the poor encoding on that video is driving you crazy, go and buy the single instead.
